To create a better understanding of why Aboriginal people have a lower use rate of mainstream health services and day surgery. St Vincent’s Health and BlaQ will be holding a number of community consultations to better understand the inhibitors in health access from mainstream providers. These consultations along with gathered survey data from our First Nations community will provide valuable feedback as to what needs to be done to create a more inviting and usable service access for Aboriginal community.
Consultations will commence in October / November 2022 and advertised on BlaQ website and social media.
